Click Counter Guide

The click counter is built for fast repeated counting. It can track taps, repetitions, laps, inventory, or any recurring action.

Click Counter - Tips & Best Practices

  • Use a large screen for fast clicking.
  • Set the step value if each click represents more than one item.
  • Use reset carefully after long sessions.

Fast Click Counting for High-Speed Events

The click counter is optimised for rapid repeated tapping or clicking. The button covers a large area of the screen to reduce mis-clicks during fast counting, and the display updates immediately with no lag. It is ideal for counting repetitive physical actions — gym reps, assembly line items, bird counts, traffic events — where speed matters more than navigation. The step value option lets each click represent more than one item when you are counting in batches.

Click Counter Use Cases

  • Gym: count repetitions for push-ups, squats, pull-ups, or any resistance exercise.
  • Traffic observation: count vehicles, pedestrians, or cyclists at a junction.
  • Production line: count items completed per shift or per hour.
  • Wildlife survey: tally bird or animal sightings in the field.
  • Research: count occurrences of a specific event during observation sessions.

Click Counter With Time-Based Recording

For rate-based counting — items per minute, reps per set, events per hour — run the click counter alongside the stopwatch or an interval timer. Start both at the same moment, click for the full interval, and divide the total by the elapsed time to calculate rate. The lap stopwatch lets you record split counts at defined intervals.
