Swimming Timer
Pool-optimized timing with stroke tracking and set intervals
Swimming Timer Guide
Competitive swimming is timed with extreme precision, often decided by hundredths of a second. This timer is designed specifically for pool workouts and competitions. Press "Wall Touch" each time you reach the end of a length, and the timer records your split, calculates your pace per 100 meters, and tracks your progress toward the target distance.
Pace per 100 meters is the standard metric in competitive swimming, allowing direct comparison across different distances. For example, a swimmer holding a 1:30/100m pace would complete a 400m in approximately 6 minutes. Negative splitting -- swimming the second half faster -- is a hallmark of experienced swimmers.
The set tracking feature lets you organize your workout into distinct blocks. Complete a distance, then start a new set with a different stroke or distance. This mirrors how structured swim practices are organized, with warm-up, main sets, and cool-down phases.
